Battrixx, a battery division of Kabra Extrusiontechnik Ltd, has introduced dual power electric vehicle smart batteries. These dual-power electric vehicle smart batteries feature a 4 kWh high capacity modular and swappable smart battery pack. The battery packs are comprised of two 2 kWh smart battery packs connected in parallel or series and are based on patented European technology licensed to Kabra Extrusiontechnik Limited.
With an IP67 rating, the batteries are water and dustproof and provide longer battery life and a fast-charging operation. Anand Kabra, Managing Director, Kabra Extrusiontechnik Limited, said, “The smart battery can use either a Master-slave or a Master-master Technology with twin smart battery packs which are interconnected and easy to swap. The gravimetric and volumetric energy densities found to be extremely high are enabled by liquid cooling in the modular and compact architecture.
After announcing its partnership with WardWizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd in August, Battrixx has now secured its single largest order, which is to deliver 8000 battery packs for Joy E-bike (electric two-wheeler) developed by WardWizard.
