Bhavish Aggarwal, the CEO of Ola Electric, revealed the updated delivery date on his Twitter profile. He stated that delivery of Ola electric scooters will commence on December 15, 2021, in India. “Scooters are getting ready,” says the CEO. ” Production has been escalated, and delivery will begin on December 15th. I appreciate your patience!”
Ola Electric completed 20,000 test rides
He also stated that 20,000 test rides had been completed by the company. “Amazing effort by the team on India’s, if not the world’s, largest such initiative.” “In December, we’ll get to over 10,000 test rides a day across 1000 cities!”

Ola-most pre-booked scooter 1 million registrations
For its electric scooter, Ola has received 1 million reservations. Within 24 hours, it had got 1 lakh reservations. Ola electric scooter is the most pre-booked scooter in the world, with 1 lakh pre-bookings. On the evening of July 15, the company began accepting reservations for its electric scooter.
In September, Ola Electric began accepting bookings for the first batch of S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters, and it is now ready to accept full and final payments for the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro. Only customers who booked Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro in the first window will be able to make full payments.
Ola S1 and S1 Pro
The electric scooter is propelled by a Hyperdrive motor with an 8.5kW peak power output. The S1 is supposed to feature a top speed of 90 km/hr and a battery pack with a capacity of 2.98 kWh. It has a range of 121 kilometers, whereas the Ola S1 Pro has a top speed of 115 kilometers per hour and a battery capacity of 3.97 kilowatt-hours, giving it a range of 181 kilometers.
Both versions can accelerate from 0 to 40 kilometers per hour in 3.6 seconds and 3 seconds, respectively. Normal, sports, and hyper are the two riding modes available on the Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro.
The Ola Electric S1 and S1 Pro electric scooters were released earlier this year. The S1 is priced at Rs 99,999 ex-showroom, while the S1 Pro is priced at Rs 1,29,999.
