Ford Motor Company has stated that approximately 200,000 reservations have been placed for the future Ford F-150 Lightning electric pickup truck. The F-150 Lightning has officially concluded pre-orders, making it the best-selling pickup truck of all time (electric version of the United States).

Since the unveiling of its EV, the firm has been taking pre-orders with a $100 refundable deposit, and on the first day alone, it received 20,000 bookings. Interesting! I believe that number two is favorable for Ford, as it received 20,000 reservations on the first day and has now closed the reservations with 200,000.
The production of the Ford F-150 lightning electric pickup truck took approximately three years. The company expects to produce 15,000 units this year, 55,000 units in 2023, and 80,000 units in 2024. That’s a total of 150,000 units in three years, with 200,000 reservations already made.
About F-150
In the United States, the Ford F-150 is one of the most popular pickup trucks. For years, the pickup truck with the IC engine has been a success, and Ford has also released a hybrid version of the F-150 pickup. Ford, like most other automakers, is attempting to deploy electric competitors. As part of this, Ford is releasing the F-150 Lightning, an electric pickup truck.
Specifications of F-150 Lightning
While we dig for EV technical terms, the F-150 electric pickup comes with a standard range battery and a dual-motor powertrain that produces 426 horsepower (318 kW / 432 PS) and torque of 775 lb-ft (1,050 Nm). The extended-range models have a beefier dual-motor powertrain that produces 563 horsepower (420 kW / 571 PS) and the same torque.
Also, the power on board of the 9.6 kW version can offer power through 11 outlets of the electric vehicle. Among these outlets, there are four 120 V outlets in the front trunk, two in the cab, four in the bed along one 240V outlet.

While there is still a lot to learn about this truck, Ford has revealed the anticipated range for now. The F-150’s two battery pack options can provide a range of up to 368 km and 480 km, respectively.
Features
With Ford Intelligent Backup Power and other essential power transfer equipment, Ford claims that the F-150 Lightning can provide emergency power backup for an average home in the event of a power outage. According to Ford, the F-150 Lightning’s extended battery range version may provide 3 days of backup with a full charge in the vehicle, depending on usage.

SYNC 4A with the 15.5-inch portrait touchscreen is standard on the F-150 Lightning, and enhanced voice recognition is standard on LARIAT and Platinum variants. Voice access to apps, integrated navigation, cloud-based connectivity, and other features are included.
